ReplyDeleteThe stories are very nice. And your words well structured love them. But you were killing the ginger 😢😭 not fair.
ReplyDeleteAdeteju you are real kind to leave a review! Thank you. so sorry for the delay.
DeleteThe wordings are so sweet...nice piece...expecting more ma'am
ReplyDeleteI look forward to writing more! Thank you so much
DeleteThe words and painting of the scene made me feel uncomfortable, I felt I was there...that's powerful.
ReplyDeleteNow you make me wish I could read my own words as an outsider, you know, come out of myself as the creator and read it the way you read it. LOL! I am so glad you feel that way. Thank you!
DeleteWow....just wow... you know Eva...from the very first time I heard you, I knew u were something else... I just ran through this review, loving every single part. You are really a talent and I can't wait to read more from you... my fav quote "There’s not much for a cockroach to do in this world of sin" kudos babe... Well done
ReplyDeleteThat's my favorite story in the book, I think. It makes me so glad to know you enjoyed it! The final part comes in July. Looking forward to having you read it all. Thank you!
DeleteEva,
ReplyDeleteYou did good with '11'. If anything, the courage to write on a discourse that is considered blunt and raw is highly commendable. It's amazing how you painted pictures with words. At some point, I was seeing Chike doing his thing and I saw it clear in my mental sphere. You're truly artistic!
Hahahaa @ seeing Chike doing 'his thing'. Thank you so much for your kind review.
DeleteEva elohor, u amaze me, as a rapper and a writer. I enjoyed all the stories especially A mat on the floor. Your choice of words shows deep intelligence and the way you string the sentences together just blows my mind. Thanks for this gift, looking forward to the complete version. God bless
ReplyDeleteHi eva.. I love your book.I love the way you use words to express feelings which are easy to catch as a reader..I called on Friday.. I couldn't complete the call but just hearing you talk was....I love you.. You inspire me - vader
ReplyDeleteIt’s easy to forget or misunderstand what an amazing gift one really has. Eva, you're gifted.
ReplyDeleteI got to experience the wonder of existence and consciousness
" from my corner of the wall"
This made me sad because I relate to few . I whimpered from both fear and pain as " she whimpered from both fear and pain" there's more to that statement than it is.
" I am high of you"
You want to know the truth? I was gasping for air, literally and well; trying not to rain as well. I'm not going to say much about this because I'm quite sure every soul had that seizure I had while reading it.
A mat on the floor had me seeing my future. Two individuals, magically in love, so amorous, having to make me believe happily ever after exists. That absolutely was my best.
One more thing I got delighted was the fact that it wasn't too raw but still made that blood rush fast through my veins haha. Hopefully I don't feel unsteady with the next book.
Hope to read more soon please.
